As a direct result of the melting pot that makes up the good ol' US of A, many of the couples to be wed are of multi-cultural, multi-ethnic and/or multi-traditional wedding couples. These couples are often mixing many different religions into their wedding and subsequence marriage. In the past, we saw Catholics marrying Jewish, and other American mainstream religions marrying into one another. Today, we see many weddings of different races, colors and creeds.
This makes for some exciting planning as couples aim to mix all of the given traditions of their particular side [as to avoid any particular side of either family from feeling left out], ensuring that all traditions within the couple's family line are honored on the wedding day.
